I stayed at The Village Bondi Beach for a quick stopover with my young son to enjoy the beach. The location was fantastic, super quiet at night, and just a few minutes' walk to Bondi Beach. The room was super clean, with a comfy bed, fresh white linen, and a clean bathroom. The air-conditioner was excellent and the room had power points with USB and a night light. The kitchen and laundry facilities were clean and well-equipped. The staff, especially Carmen, were friendly and helpful. Great value for budget accommodation.
Would recommend this hotel.

Bondi Beach is great and so is the surrounding neighbourhood.
Nearly all the staff were unhappy looking people, never offering to chat or help or just be good hosts. Really brought the whole tone of the place down.

The newly renovated rooms were impressive, with modern facilities and a fresh look. the location of the hotel was amazing, just a short walk from the beach and close to all the popular attractions. One of the best aspects was the digital door system, which made check, in and check, out hassle, free and provided a sense of independence.
The cleanliness of the room was questionable, especially in the bathroom. the lack of staff availability made it difficult to get assistance when needed, and messages sent through their app were never answered promptly.

The staff were friendly and helpful - even with extra things I needed - like an extension cord for for my sleep machine. The room was extremely clean and the staff were friendly and helpful... The location is just a 3 minute walk to Bondi Beach and very beautiful. Buses to Bondi Junction are frequent too, and from here to the city and other places. Also through Booked.net the prices are excellent value and I will not hesitate to book and stay here again regularly... Thanks

We had a fantastic stay at Village Bondi Beach. the location was perfect, and the staff, especially Emre Lale, were incredibly friendly and efficient. They took care of any issues we had during our stay and made us feel welcome. the sense of community at the hostel was great, with activities that allowed us to meet other guests. We highly recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back. Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent! 👌.

Good atmosphere with the other backpackers. Really cool hostel.
The kitchen is too small and no gas cooker...only electric which takes ages to cook something.

It is quite close to the beach. although we've booked a shared bathroom accommodation they've change it free of charge with a room with private bathroom
it's quite dirty, noisy and the rooms are tinny. bugs are not a rare sight while the rooms never get cleaned (we've cleaned ours on our own)

The Village Bondi Beach was great value for money, with a clean and comfortable room. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Bondi beach and close to everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the menu.

Location
Where to begin? Worst place we have ever stayed in, the room was tiny and cramped, could barely turn around in the bathroom. The room had cockroaches, I believe they come from the drain in the bathroom as I saw one crawl out of there. The room was also freezing cold, asked the staff for a heater, which they did not provide. Overall a bad place, not good value for money; even though it was very cheap. Would not recommend, poor.
